6:30pm - 7:45pm Beginner Heels Drop-In
Strut, hair flip, and hip roll as your sassiest self in our heels class! Our drop-in heels class consists of a warm-up and conditioning, heels dance foundations, and a short choreographed combo. Everyone is welcome in class whether you have zero dance experience or years of dance experience.8pm - 9:15pm Intermediate Heels Drop-In
This class follows the same structure as our beginner heels class — warm up and conditioning, heels dance foundations, and a short choreographed combo. Intermediate level is recommended for those with 3+ years of dance experience, stability and confidence in quick movement in a heel, and understanding of basic jazz technique. -
6:30pm - 7:45pm Beginner Hip Hop Drop-In
Our Hip Hop class focuses on the basics of hip hop grooves, understanding counts in choreography, and gaining confidence in movement while learning choreography to popular rap, hip hop, and pop music. Everyone is welcome in our beginner level — no experience necessary!8pm - 9:15pm Intermediate Sassy Sneakers Drop-In
Sassy sneakers is best described as a class that makes you feel like the backup dancer for your favourite early 2000s pop star. Hip hop meets jazz meets general choreography in this high impact, feel good class. Our intermediate level is recommended for those with 3+ years of dance experience who are comfortable picking up choreography at an intermediate pace and with strong jazz and hip hop execution. -
Beginner Sassy Sneakers Drop-In (July 9 & 16) 6:30pm - 7:45pm
Get sassy and sweaty in this beginner choreography class! In this class you will do a great cardio warm up followed by learning a beginner-friendly dance combo! With movements based in hip hop and jazz merged with the latest trends, you will be sure to feel like a backup dancer for your favourite pop star! Grab a clean pair of sneakers and get ready for a fun and judgment-free class! Advanced Heels Drop-In (July 16) 6:30pm - 7:45pm
This class is for intermediate dancers looking to take their training to the next level. With a focus on musicality, flexibility, and adding your own personality into your movement, this class is equal parts fun and work!Poms! 4 Week Mini-Series (July 23, 30, August 6, 13) 7:30pm - 8:45pm
Poms is cheerleader energy meets heels class meets main-stage performer — and it is exactly as fun as it sounds! We're talking sassy jazz choreography, backup dancer attitude, and a full set of poms in your hands from the moment class starts. Whether you've cheered before or just always wanted to, this class was made for those who want to move with confidence and perform with intention.Like A Mother: Postpartum Heels Drop-In (July 30, August 6, 27)
Like A Mother dance classes aren’t just about dancing — they’re designed to meet you where you’re at right now. With a warm up and cool down created specifically for mothers to be able to be fully present and strengthen their core and pelvic floor safely, you’ll leave feeling empowered and reconnected with the woman you are beneath it all.

Duration: 75 min
Who it's for: Perfect for new students trying our classes for the first time and those who are looking for a low-commitment yet high impact dance class.
What to expect: A full body warm up, conditioning exercises, dance foundational movement instruction, and a fun choreographed combo tying it all together!
Why you'll love it: A no-pressure way to sweat, learn, and dance! Build strength in your dance foundations, boost your confidence, and have fun while dancing in a judgment-free and empowering community.

Duration: 4-6 weeks, 60-90 min per week
Who it's for: For people ready to create community with the same dancers each week but not looking to perform on stage.
What to expect: Learn dance foundations, technique, and choreography that builds on your knowledge each week. Start with a full body warm up and build your dance knowledge and skills!
Why you'll love it: You’ll see growth in your dance ability from the first class to the last AND gain an awesome community of dancers cheering you on at the same time!

Duration: 2 hours per week for 10 weeks
Who it's for: Dancers ready to shine on stage in a live production!
What to expect: Learn choreographed numbers to perform live on stage! All in an incredible community of dancers ready to dance alongside you and cheer you on!
Why you'll love it: Perform in a themed production on stage! You’ll get all the benefits of our drop-in classes - great workout, boosting confidence, learning fun dances - but tenfold. When you dance with the same dancers each week and get on stage and ROCK your numbers, you will feel UNSTOPPABLE!

Frequently asked questions
What do I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable that you can move and sweat in! Depending on the style of class, our dancers wear anything from sweatpants to lingerie, t-shirts to sports bras. If you can move freely in it and feel good in it, wear it! Please bring clean indoor shoes with non-marking soles for all classes. For contemporary and ballet, please wear clean socks.
Do I need to bring anything to my dance class?
Your own water bottle and clean, indoor shoes.
Where do I park?
We have 3 studios so please check which one your class will be held at. If your class is at:
Thrive Dance Studio - Please park at the Big Box Outlet next door and walk to the studio. Parking directly in front of Thrive Dance Studio is reserved for quick pick up and drop off only.
Fusion Force Dance Studio - We will be dancing in the second studio on the right side at the back of the parking lot.
Studio One Dance Center - There is lots of parking in this parking lot! Be sure to watch out for 'no parking' signs in front of some businesses.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive late, please enter the room quietly and join in! Our class assistant will quietly greet you and make sure you are caught up on what is happening in class.
Do I need to know anything else?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get checked in and settled into the space.
